The Fondas are among the best that Detroit has to offer. Featuring the talents of Steve Shaw (Detroit Cobras), Julie Benjamin (Slumber Party), Mark Niemenski (Hysteric Narcotics), Chip Sercombe (Hysteric Narcotics, Sillies), Nick Sokolowski - the Fondas bring a wealth of experience and a whole lot of enthusiasm to the Detroit music scene. You may have already seen them as the Dehocos or even as the "band with no name" at their debut at the Record Graveyard in Hamtramck, but they sound even better as the Fondas. The Fondas are just one more compelling reason that you should never, ever stay home in Detroit on a weekend.
